Meet the Team

Director & Educational Leader

Radha is thoughtful, friendly and fair. She is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of staff, children and families. She is particularly interested in how educator wellbeing impacts on children’s learning and wellbeing and loves to teach children’s yoga. Radha has been part of the Styles Street team since 2016.

Funny, exuberant and a has great sense of humour. Neda has high expectations for children, she encompasses the belief that children will achieve their full potential. Neda has been part of the Styles Street family since 2010.

Educator

Susan is passionate about building strong relationships with children and their families and sharing her interest in nature with the children. She encourages a love of nature with the children through planned and spontaneous experiences, such as fossicking for natural materials in our environment or bringing them to the centre for the children to explore and enjoy.

Cook

Jason cooks fresh and delicious meals the children love. He is also a musician and has been playing the drums and guitar since 1984. He has English/Norwegian background and is also a huge EPL fan and supports West Ham United F.C. He loves cycling, walking, watching movies and having a beer with mates.

Early Childhood Teacher

Creative and calm. Ces loves creating experiences/moments for children which bring out children’s natural wonder, curiosity and joy. Ces also believes in creating calm, beautiful and natural spaces for children and families.

Educator & Room Leader

Passionate, excitable and goofy, Matthew can sometimes be difficult to tell apart from the children. He loves seeing children grow and develop and marvels at how far they come in short periods of time. Matthew enjoys reading stories with children and encouraging a sense of wonder and imagination in them.

Saima is dedicated and passionate about art and craft. She is friendly and loves to sing and dance with children. Saima strives to form positive relationships with children and families ensuring that the learning environment is safe, inclusive, welcoming and nurturing for them. Saima’s passion is to support children become more independent and self-empowered each day.

Tania is loving, caring and a calm personality. She loves working with children and is passionate about building positive relationship with them. Tania strives to create a safe and secure environment for the children so they can thrive, grow, learn and take challenges.

Thoughtful and caring. Sara loves to sing with the children well as read and tell stories. She strives to make sure children reach their full potential as independent learners.

Melissa has a caring personality with strong interpersonal skills. She embraces the uniqueness of each day and how it brings unexpected learning into the classroom. She also gains a great sense of achievement from seeing the children develop and grow as individuals.

Annalaura is warm, vibrant and full of energy. She loves to be involved in children’s play and is always happy to be around children. Passionate about children’s interests and interested in how children use their interest to develop new skills. Anna also has a love for outdoor play, sports, music and dance.

Natasha is calm, caring and supportive. She has a background in graphic design and brings her love of all things creative to her teaching practice. She enjoys engaging her powers of diplomacy with children and discovering new perspectives in the search for fairness. Natasha is committed to understanding the children entrusted to her care and supporting them to find their spark.

Caring, creative and adventurous, Jess loves bringing a sense of wonder and fun to the children's days at Styles Street. She is passionate about environmental education and believes a child’s natural curiosity to explore their surrounding world, creates endless opportunities to grow and learn together. Jess enjoys spending time in nature, camping and listening to any form of live music.

Caring, patient and kind, Mina is passionate about building trustful relationships with children and families and dedicated to creating an inclusive and friendly environment where every child can be themselves. Discovering children’s interests and strengths and interacting creatively with them inspires and motivates her. She enjoys playing piano and ukulele, painting, gardening and nature.

Laura is as thoughtful and considerate as she is kind and encouraging. She brings a youthful exuberance to the team that encourages children to explore and live their curiosity. With her South American heritage, she also brings the firm but fair expectations of the Abuelita to ensure that a child is mindful of their peers as much as they are their surroundings.

Early Childhood Teacher

Tracy, originally from New Zealand is fun and funny, warm, caring and friendly. Tracy worked as a Registered Nurse for many years before retraining, and her nursing and travelling experiences inform her teaching practice. She strives to encourage joy, notice joy, spread joy – (happily it is more contagious than covid). Tracy loves music, stories, crafting, sewing, yoga and chatting. She endeavours to “let the uniqueness of the child guide our work”. She is passionate about children’s social and emotional health and well-being, and believes that from this all else follows.

Educator

Rose has worked in the sector for over 25 years and has built and maintained relationships with a lot of families in this time. Her philosophy has always been about creating and ensuring that the child and their families have a sense of belonging. In her spare time, Rose enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her twin nieces and nephews. Family is important to her and she looks forward to getting to know the families at Styles Street.

Office Coordinator

Jana has recently joined the Styles Street team, however has been a member of the community as a parent for 5 years. Jana is originally from Germany and has a background in costume and fashion design (although her other passion is good food!) She brings her creative flair to the Office Coordinator role and is warm, friendly member of the team.
